with the fear of jinnat
Assalam oalaikum,
Before one enters the field of amalyat it is important to prepare oneself, both mentally and physically, for the rough road ahead. An amil is supposed to deal with the powerful, evil jinnat, which are invisible to the human eye. If they do appear, then their sight is very horrendous, in order to scare the amil. However, there is no need to be scared of them because the jinnat very cleverly try to scare away the amil and deter him from waging a war against the jinnat. Sometimes the jinnat appear in front of the amil, all of a sudden. At other times they follow the amil like his shadow. If they run about on the terrace so their footsteps can be heard by the amil. In some cases the jinnat appear and start talking with the amil or else they enter into the body of the amil’s family member and use foul language to frighten the amil. The jinnat can also make the body of the amil shudder while he is asleep. The crux of the matter is that the amil should learn to be strong and understand that the ulterior motive of the jinnat is to frighten the amil so that he does not challenge the jinnat. This is what makes them do all this kind of tricks. We should remember always that Allah (swt) is the Master of this entire cosmos whereas satan is only the master of illusion. Satan deals in deceit and hallucination. If we understand this then satan can never control our minds. In this field, fear has to be conquered because the jinnat or their black magic feeds on our fear. The more fearful you are, the more will the jinnat succeed in weakening an amil. The more fearful the victim is, the more will the magic affect him. Hence, one should only fear Allah (swt). With the name of Prophet Mohamamd (SAWS) in your heart, make a pledge that you are on the mission to combat evil and Allah (swt) will help you at every step.
